Farewell, For Now.

How Others See... Book Reviewing

Image
I  keep seeing all these new additions for the unofficial How Others See My Profession/Hobby "meme" going around, and its obvious that most Facebook networkers have seen them. I decided that not having one (yet) for book reviewers was frankly wrong! So I whipped this up! Please note I don't own these images nor the photo stock - they were images floating around Google and Tumblr via reblogs and the like, being such I could not find direct citation for original owners. If you have this information, please leave a comment and I'd be happy to update the post. :) Otherwise, you are free to share the creation above. While it's not optional - if you love it, you'll link it back.

In Fate Fixed by Bonnie Erina Wheeler, Lexie Anderson is verbally harassed by Courtney due to petty jealousy over Torrin's affection. In the Morganville Vampires Series by Rachel Caine, Claire Danvers gets pushed down a flight of stairs by Monica and Gina. In Sweetness by Lindsay Paige, Emily is assaulted by Claire. Examples of bullying in our beloved YA fiction are countless. Unfortunately, bullying isn't just a thing of fiction. It makes characters relatable - because we've all been there.   I t can happen to anyone, anywhere. People of all races, all religions, all sexualities, all genders, all nations, and all occupations are victims. The trending cruelty festers via social media like Formspring, Facebook, and Myspace.
