Important!
- All my reviews are my honest opinions. I do not guarantee positive reviews. While I may receive free copies for reviews, I do not accept any compensation for reviews.
- I only review the first installment in a series. I don't accept requests to write reviews for sequels, prequels, and the like. I do, however, announce releases and host reveals.
- Please do not request a review for more than one book at once. I'm absolutely honored that you'd offer to share your work, but its hard enough to fit one book into the schedule, and slinging two or three across the agenda is neary impossible most months.
- Middle Grade and Adult are not the same thing as Young Adult. I love that you love my blog enough to send a request, but I review strictly YA only. This doesn't mean readers won't occasionally see a blog stop that's not YA, but it is by invitation only.
- The Waiting List is no longer in effect. Guest posts, interviews, blog tour stops, and other non-review features are no longer available. This includes tour recruitment and feature requests.

19 year old Emylene Stipe is a 2nd generation Goth who, like every teenage girl, is trying to find her place in the world. One night she comes upon an old painting in an antique store and is compelled to purchase it. When she brings it home an image of a young woman appears in the sketch and then magically materializes in her apartment. Emylene nick-names her 'Poinsettia' and they soon become fast friends. But Poinsettia has an ulterior motive for her sudden and strange intrusion into her host's life which causes Emylene to question her whole belief system.
