Spread ♥, Not Hate Blog Hop

Spread Love, Not HateIn Fate Fixed by Bonnie Erina Wheeler, Lexie Anderson is verbally harassed by Courtney due to petty jealousy over Torrin's affection. In the Morganville Vampires Series by Rachel Caine, Claire Danvers gets pushed down a flight of stairs by Monica and Gina. In Sweetness by Lindsay Paige, Emily is assaulted by Claire. Examples of bullying in our beloved YA fiction are countless. Unfortunately, bullying isn't just a thing of fiction. It makes characters relatable - because we've all been there.  It can happen to anyone, anywhere. People of all races, all religions, all sexualities, all genders, all nations, and all occupations are victims. The trending cruelty festers via social media like Formspring, Facebook, and Myspace. It's also abundant in schools, the workplace, homes, friendships, and relationships. It can take a life or destroy one -- with no more than a few cold words. But we can change that. With each person that thinks before they speak and that opens their mind before their mouth, a revolution of kindness will expand. You can fight bullying every time you speak up.

If you're going to fight - fight to make bullying a thing of fiction.

We can kill it with kindness!
